I’m Isabella Littleford—a dedicated style expert who’s spent years diving deep into where designer taste meets day-to-day life.
Having spent more than ten years in fashion, I’ve had the amazing opportunity of honing my craft in Paris, the capital of couture and collaborating with some of the most visionary designers in the world. Those years gave me a clear lens for spotting high-caliber craftsmanship, fresh concepts, and enduring style. Golden Goose sneakers have long caught my attention, a brand that seamlessly blends a distressed, lived-in vibe with impeccable high-end craftsmanship. Here, I’ll walk you through my thoughts on different Superstar models, exploring their design language, wearability, and wardrobe potential.
If you’re someone who lives for limited-edition sneakers or just wants a polished casual shoe, I’m here to offer you expert insights with knowledge gained through a decade in the field. Come with me as we unpack what sets these sneakers apart!
A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (which I originally featured in this post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I understand how they really perform, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see broken down further.
So I’m answering a bunch of popular FAQs, as well as how to grab them for less, in the sections below! Also, if you’re interested in more try-ons and reviews, check out my Abercrombie vs. Agolde jean shorts review, Goyard tote bag breakdown, and Dudley Stephens fleece review!
Cettire had them on sale and I clicked “buy” right away!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.
These sneakers typically range from $400–$1,700, depending on how detailed grey goose shoes they are.
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me.
Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.

They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since my feet get sweaty. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in fake leather. Also, they’re already distressed so your feet just get comfortable fast.
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the shine on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They cost a lot, so getting them on sale is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a neutral version would also look great.
Check out my list below. I had a 10/10 experience with GGoose.org, so I always recommend starting there.
I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a limited-time deal going on.
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast which was a major plus
When I bought my pair in spring, I paid just under $390, but their standard price is around $514.
Golden Goose sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how decked out they are.
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36. Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
They felt good right away. I recommend wearing no-shows, especially since they reduce sweat. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in fake leather. Bonus, they’re already broken-in so your feet just adjust easily.
Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the structure feels strong.
Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
